On Tuesday guest speaker and wildlife photographer Gerry Lemmo will present a program on birds of the Adirondacks. From warblers to waxwings, take a naturalist’s tour of the exquisite bird life found throughout the Adirondack Park. Bursts of color abound within this popular program. It features many of the area’s best-loved feeder birds and some you probably never knew existed, here in the wilds of northern New York. Songs of some of the featured birds accent the program.

Mr. Lemmo’s travel destinations have also included Alaska, Belize, Costa Rica, Kenya, Madagascar, Trinidad, much of Canada and the United States. Recent trips for photography have taken him to Patagonian Chile, the Antarctic Peninsula, and into the vast Amazon rainforest of Ecuador. A great number of his photos are also from numerous treks throughout the Adirondacks, and the great Northeast.

As a professional photographer for over twenty years, Gerry Lemmo has been widely published in magazines such as National Geographic World, Audubon, The Nature Conservancy, Ranger Rick’s, Adriondack Life, and Birds and Bloom among others.
