Jim Parker was born in Saranac Lake NY and today lives in Malta. However, the family camp in Owls Head NY, deep in the Adirondacks is the only place he has always been at home.
A few years ago he was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Today he is a cancer survivor (for 3 years now) and has used his art as a medium to relieve stress and move forward.
Jim works in different materials including oil, acrylics, pencil, pastel, watercolor, and mixed media. Almost all of his works are available as limited edition prints or Giclee’.
