This is a blog.  This blog will allow you to access a lot of information about the library, your account, and the local area very quickly.  A blog also lets you leave comments for others to read. 

Right up top you’ll find several tabs.  Each tab links to basic information that does not change often.

Off to the left you can check the weather and search the web with google.  Below that is access to many areas where you will need your library card. The card catalog is to find the items you are looking for like books and videos, your account lets you request and renew  materials,  and of course links to your free access to research databases and audiobooks. (In case you hadn’t heard, you can now download all sorts of audio books to your mp3 player or computer using only your library card - cool, aye?) The next link is, “What’s New?”  That will bring you to a section in the card catalog to tell you new items that have been recently added to the collection at the Hadley-Luzerne Public Library.  It also has graphics; if you don’t like graphics or would like to leave a comment, look in the middle for postings of new items.

The last link on the left, at the bottom, is a Meta login.  This is for admin use only.

Off to your right, is the calendar of events here at the library. Coming Soon: Any highlighted day will take you to a posting about the event we have scheduled for you!  Below that, you can actually use our own search engine to look for information on this site.  Below that, you see news listings separated into blog categories. No need to get worried, blog is just the newest word for diary. Take a minute and explore the categories so you see what will end up where.
