19 Main Street, Lake Luzerne
Storyteller Jeannine Laverty will present traditional stories in celebration of this time
of year that bridge this pesky season that brings us mud, maple syrup, mud, sweet
smelling breezes, mud, snowstorms, and mud in the Adirondacks!
Ms. Laverty, born and raised on a farm in Iowa, has lived in New York State for the last
50 years. She has performed in schools and museums, and teaches workshops for
adults at Great Camp Sagamore and other Adirondack venues. She was awarded the
1999 Northeast Region Award for Leadership from the National Storytelling Network.
We hope you can join us for what will be an inspiring and enjoyable morning! The
program is free and open to the public. For further information please call the Library
